How to Get Here
Directions
In the northwestern part of Växjö, between Hejaregatan and Mörners väg in the Samarkand commercial district, you’ll find Grand Samarkand. It’s easy to get here by car, bus, or bike. If you’d like to use GPS, enter Hejaregatan 32.
Parking
Whether you're coming from the west or the east, take the Mörners väg exit and follow the shopping cart symbol—the shopping center is just ahead.
Our parking lot is free and can accommodate about 1,500 cars—1,000 spaces on the west side and 500 on the east side. There are designated family parking spaces on both the east and west sides. You can park here if you have a stroller or small children in the car.
Electric Car Charging at Mer
In the west parking lot, Mer has two fast chargers, each with two CCS ports, allowing four cars to charge at the same time. The parking lot also has two destination chargers, each with two Type 2 ports, for a total of four charging stations.
The chargers are part of Mer’s charging network, and charging is initiated using a Mer charging token or the Mer Connect mobile app.

Tesla Supercharger Station
Near the McDonald's in Samarkand, there is a Tesla Supercharger station that offers all electric car owners reliable, user-friendly, and high-capacity fast charging for long trips. The station has 16 Superchargers with V3 technology and is open to all electric cars.
The station in Växjö is open to all electric car owners as part of Tesla’s pilot project to welcome all electric cars. The 16 chargers provide up to 250 kW, and it’s easy to charge and navigate using the navigation system in Tesla cars or the mobile app.
Thanks to the variable pricing model, Time-of-Use, customers are encouraged to use the capacity of the Supercharger network more efficiently during peak travel days. By charging between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day, customers pay a lower price while also reducing the load on the local power grid.
As energy markets evolve, prices on the Supercharger network will be adjusted more regularly, allowing owners to benefit from savings as energy costs decline. Tesla owners can view charging prices at each station on the car’s display and in the Tesla mobile app.
