"We are pleased to announce an exciting new opening this fall," says Center Manager Mats Jäderberg. "A completely new type of tenant will be moving in when Väster Tandvård relocates from downtown Växjö and opens a dental clinic at Grand Samarkand."
“Interest in opening businesses—which are not retail-related but are located in a retail destination like Grand Samarkand—has increased significantly in recent years,” says Center Manager Mats Jäderberg. “In addition to our new tenant, Väster Tandvård, we currently still have about 900 square meters of available leasable office space left,” Mats Jäderberg adds. Companies want to be located—for example, with service functions—where visitors are, and in a place that’s easily accessible by car, bus, and bike. It’s also important that there are good parking options nearby.
We asked Eddie and Jenny Larsson to answer a few questions;
-Could you tell us a little about yourselves and your business?
Eddie and Jenny Larsson have been running Väster Dental since 2016. The practice primarily offers general dental care with a focus on implants, dental surgery, and invisible braces. Eddie is one of about ten dentists in Sweden—and the only one in Växjö—who holds a master’s degree in implant surgery. He completed a two-year program at Goethe University in Frankfurt. Jenny has been a licensed Invisalign Provider (invisible braces) since 2018 and has completed a number of advanced training courses.
-You’re making a major move by relocating from downtown Växjö to the Grand Samarkand area. What led to this decision?
It’s exciting to become part of Grand Samarkand’s offerings and services, while also having a separate and inviting entrance facing Mörners väg. The location is easily accessible and allows us to offer parking, which was a key factor for us in choosing this space. It’s a growing area with residential properties, Arenastaden, and the new hospital.
-You're developing a new, state-of-the-art dental clinic. What sets you apart from other dentists?

-In which areas or trends within your profession do you see future developments?
Digital dentistry. This has the potential to provide greater accuracy and predictability. This, in turn, leads to a wider range of treatment options and better, healthier, and more aesthetically pleasing results!
